Louis Vuitton Malletier, known simply as Louis Vuitton is a French luxury fashion house founded in 1854. LV (the brand) is known as one of the world's leading international fashion houses. One of the most progressive of all luxury brands, it sells its merchandise through most of the more-available shopping channels out there today. These include standalone boutiques, high-end departmental stores, and the e-commerce section of its website. In the early 2000s, the brand was named the world's most valuable luxury brand. LV operates out of 50 countries with over 460 stores worldwide. The label's iconic LV monogram can be found on their luxury bags and leather goods, ready-to-wear apparel, shoes, watches, jewelry, and eyewear.
